Renowned Ghanaian businessman and policy activist Senyo Hosi has commented on the recent issue surrounding Rev. John Ntim Fordjour’s claims regarding two planes reportedly involved in money laundering and narcotics trafficking. Hosi questioned the way the MP brought the matter to the public’s notice, even if he conceded that Fordjour might have had good grounds to voice concerns.
Hosi said in a recent interview that Fordjour’s approach to the issue was subpar and should have been handled better. In order to prevent needless public anxiety and political strain, he underlined the significance of adhering to the proper channels and protocols while handling delicate national security issues.
When National Investigations Bureau (NIB) agents tried to arrest Rev. Fordjour at his home after he made public remarks on the plane, the scene became more heated. Political tensions between the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the government National Democratic Congress (NDC) were triggered by this action, and different political figures and experts had conflicting views.

Fordjour was accused of making up the accusations by James Agalga, the chairman of Parliament’s defense and interior committee, who called them a rash attempt to damage the state’s reputation. The NDC’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, demanded that Fordjour be arrested and that he provide evidence to support his allegations or face legal repercussions.
