On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Joy News Editor Araba Koomson married her longtime lover Kwabena Ofori Amanfo in a stunning wedding at the EWC Church in Dzorwulu, Accra, marking a significant milestone. Due to the fact that it was also her birthday, the date was much more memorable and joyful.
Both traditional and white ceremonies were part of the wedding. Araba wore a gorgeous yellow corseted kente dress for the traditional ceremony and a sophisticated white gown for the white wedding. Her husband wore a crisp white suit to match her outfit.
Family, friends, and coworkers attended the event, and prominent media figures including Israel Laryea, Becky, Roselyn Felli, and Afia Pokuaa (Vim Lady) posted sincere congrats on social media.
