E-sports, also called computer games, will feature as a show sport for the impending thirteenth African Games scheduled for March 2024 in Ghana.
This will become the first appearance of the innovative competition on the cards of the games codes for the African games.
E-sports are serious competitions of computer games, particularly among proficient gamers. In view of this, the best players from the African continent are expected to assemble in Accra next year for the event.
There will be five show disciplines for the Games which includes Sambo, Teqball, Speedball, Mixed Martial Arts, and E-sports.
Meanwhile, the excitement is progressively growing as Ghana, explicitly Accra prepares to have the thirteenth African Games one year from now.
The Local Organising Committee in Ghana, the West African nation is working round the clock to get the country prepared for the Games.
