2023 AFCON: Ghana Arrive In Ivory Coast Clad In A Beautiful And Rich Kente

The Black Stars of Ghana have shown up in Ivory Coast in a wonderfully woven and vivid kente to partake in the 34th edition of the greatest football celebration on the continent, the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars will be based in the de facto capital and largest city of Ivory Coast, Abidjan where they will play all their three group stage games.

The Black Stars arrived in Ivory Coast clad in the traditional Kente fabric like royals from the Akan tribe.

Black Stars Of Ghana Ready To ‘Explode’ In Cote D’Ivoire

The competition which starts off on Saturday, January 13, 2024, will have the continent’s best 24 teams going after honours and Ghana is one of those nations tipped to challenge for the title.

Ghana is matched in Group B with Egypt, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.

Ghana will face Cape Verde in their first game at the Felix Houphet Boigny stadium in the competition.
