The 2024 MTV VMAs will take place on September 11 at UBS Arena in New York. The night’s hosts will be Megan Thee Stallion and Busta Rhymes.
The award show is expected to be one of the most exciting events, with musical performances, famous winners, and memorable pop culture moments. Musicians across categories will be honored and celebrated.
With 12 nominations, including eight for her and Post Malone’s song “Fortnight” and nominations for Best Pop and Artist of the Year, Taylor Swift leads the list.
If she wins Video of the Year, she’ll also be the first artist to procure the honor in the category three back to back times.
Ariana Grande received seven nominations with her Album ‘Eternal Sunshine and is attached with Sabrina Carpenter — who is nominated for the first time at the VMAs.
Chappell Roan additionally had her nominations in the Best New Artist and MTV Push Performance of the Year categories.
Shawn Mendes, Sabrina Woodworker, LISA, Halsey, Camila Cabello, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Anitta, Karol G and LL Cool J, Lenny Kravitz and numerous other artists will make that big appearance to perform.
Katy Perry, who will be honored with the MTV Video Vanguard Award, is also playing out a number of her best hits. Megan will conclude this “Hot Girl Summer” by hosting as well.
MTV and all Paramount channels, including BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, and VH1, will broadcast the event live in New York on September 11. Additionally, it will be streamable on Paramount+.
Megan Thee Stallion will assume the role of host of the 2024 VMAs and be one of the most anticipated performers of the night.

In an Instagram post, Busta Rhymes, who is also one of the hosts of this year’s ceremony, expressed his joy and pride at being one of the stage commanders:
“I keep telling you, the blessings Don’t stop, so we ain’t never gonna stop!” Proud to ANNOUNCE THAT THE DRAGON 🐉WILL PRESENTING AT THE @vmas 2024!!! TRUST YOU DON’T WANNA MISS IT!!!”
