The 5th edition of the EMY Africa Awards which was scheduled for Saturday 4th July, 2020, at last tumbled off at Kempinski with as usual a beautiful event.
With Nathaniel Attoh and Naa Ashokor, being the hosts of the show, the program was very well emceed, as both media personalities were essentially exceptional.
Legendary Gospel duo, Tagoe Sisters’ opening music act was similarly awesome as they incredibly played out a portion of their hit melodies to welcome visitors.
As an Award ceremony that has complimented the best in men’s achievements across local industry, community, culture and public service, it was again no different from the previous ones as numerous men and business entities were honoured for their capacities, initiatives and duties to society.
Regardless of COVID-19, the occasion was efficient with music from top acts like King Promise, Efya, Joe Mettle and Akwaboah. Clad in an excellent attractive dress, Efya and Akwaboah did wonderful tunes together, which was a classic one to the enjoyment of guests present.
