Sandra Owusu Named In The 2021 FIFA Puskas List

Women football all over the world has gained prominence as of late. Many sportswomen, especially football players have acquired popularity through their awesome displays on the field of play.

All things considered, these women with incredible talents including their male counterparts have always been acknowledged for their real performance at the FIFA Puskás Award.

This year, eleven players have been selected for the FIFA Puskás Award with past winners being Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mo Salah.

For the 2021 event, FIFA has examined and selected best performance, including 11 wonderful goals during the year under review, and have allowed the fans vote in favor of their best goal for the award. This includes both the male and female classification.

Colombia’s Luis Díaz who was an outstanding player at the last Copa America tournament played in Brazil, French right winger Gauthier Hein, Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Valentino Lazaro, Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez, and so forth have all been inclined to take home the 2021 Puskas.

That said, one of the females who got the attention of FIFA, and was listed among these inconceivable players is Ghana’s Sandra Owusu Ansah. She scored an astonishing goal that pulled in loads of people all over the world.
