The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the official match ball for the 2022 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon as a component of the commencement to Africa’s biggest game.
The new official match ball, named “Toghu” after the conventional outfit that is extremely famous in Cameroon, will be used by the 24 teams during the 52 matches to be played at the competition between 09 January 2022 and 06 February 2022.

‘Toghu’ is a multi-shaded and finely weaved outfit. The ball was at first designed for Royalty in the North West district of Cameroon, however has since been taken on by Cameroonians as an outfit for special events.
What Makes ‘Toghu’ Special For The Tournament?
The ball has been designed to meet the most elevated standards in the game. It comes with simple technological features including a smart panel configuration and it’s FIFA-approved to be used at highest levels of the game.
