
Founder of the Armani fashion house, Georgio Armani has died at the age of 91. In the company of his loved ones, he passed away quietly at home in Milan.
In a statement expressing their profound sadness, his fashion firm said that he was the “creator, founder, and tireless driving force” behind the brand. They also promised to honor and faithfully carry on his legacy.
For the first time in his career, Armani missed Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week in June while he was recuperating from health concerns.
Over the next weekend (September 6–7), a public funeral chamber will open in Milan, and in accordance with his desires, a private funeral will take place after.
