Media personality Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has shared his views on the recent tensions involving the wives and members of highlife icon Daddy Lumba’s family. In the video, Afrifa-Mensah referenced the reported disagreements, which he said include family disputes, court issues, and challenges relating to funeral and traditional matters. According to him, the controversies have escalated because of concerns linked to property-related matters.

Afrifa-Mensah alleged that “all the fight, court issues, and funeral issues” revolve around what he described as attempts by various individuals to gain control or influence over the highlife legend’s assets. He suggested that these property concerns are, in his view, the driving force behind the ongoing conflicts.

He stated that he personally sees nothing wrong with Daddy Lumba having married two wives, but claimed that the controversies and noise surrounding the musician’s funeral arrangements are overshadowing his legacy and reputation.

“Keep destroying the legend’s name, and later come take me as their father. Why are you doing this to Daddy Lumba?” he sarcastically said.

However, Afrifa-Mensah did not provide details to substantiate these claims. The Highlife musician, celebrated for decades of chart-topping songs and a loyal fanbase, has maintained privacy around his family affairs.
