A Big Opportunity To Secure A Slovenian Visa..

Slovenia’s labor force appears to have diminished, and there are over 90 open jobs available. Some of the affected industries include hospitality, manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and education.

However, the number of foreign workers in Slovenia has increased over time, and by 2023, they will make up 15% of the workforce.

Gastronomy and hospitality, cleaning, manufacturing, construction, engineering, healthcare, education, IT, are among the affected sectors.

Numerous foreign workers who intend to relocate to the Central European nation will also benefit from Slovenia’s labor shortage. They currently have a higher possibility getting a Slovenian visa.

Some of the jobs that are in short supply in Slovenia are:

painters, plumbers, security guards, health care assistants, nursing associate professionals, cleaners, machine operators, professional drivers, toolmakers, flame cutters, chefs, cooks, kitchen helpers/food preparers, and many more.

Additionally, Slovenia has announced 36 vacant positions for receptionists, photographers, journalists, translators, and advertising and marketing professionals.

The country’s labor ministry has also confirmed the problem with a lack of workers. At the moment, foreign workers are essential not only for the business sector but also for sustaining the standard of living in the nation.

As of January 2024, approximately 920,000 workers—farmers included—were registered in Slovenia. 15% of these were foreign nationals, up from 14% in January 2023.

Since 2016, the number of migrant workers has been rapidly rising. In that same year, approximately 16,300 work permits were issued by Slovenia; by 2022, this number had increased to 48,440.

Workers from Western Balkan nations like Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, and North Macedonia received the majority of the work permits.
