
The very first New England Ghana Festival (NEGFest) 2024 is just about months from occurring.
The evet will fall off from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8, 2024, in the US of America (USA).
NEGFest 2024 is under the sponsorship of the Ghana Heritage Foundation in Partnership with the Honorary Ghana Consulate in Massachusetts, The US-Ghana Embassy, Worcester State University, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Ghana Ministry of Tourism, Arts, And Culture, the Ghana Tourism Authority, Nananom, Local Churches, and the entire Ghana community in New England and several other entities.
It has this theme: “Sankofa; Embracing Our Legacy, Connecting Our Past.”
As indicated by the Consulate of the Republic of Ghana to Worcester-Massachusetts, Hon. Ken Asafo-Adjei, who serves as the CEO of Ghana Heritage Foundation, the event will be a remarkable experience which will observe Ghanaian legacy and culture at the debut release.
In an interview, Hon. Ken Asafo-Adjei said, the fundamental coordinators of the NEGFest 2024 are primarily Ghanaian workers supporting the vision to set out new opportunities for Ghanaians and Africans.
He says this year’s theme means to embody the spirit of getting back to one’s underlying foundations, commending the content of Ghanaian personality, and encouraging partnerships across diaspora black ages.
“The Ghana Heritage Foundation (GHF) is a non-profit organization devoted to uplifting and empowering the Ghanaian community in New England. The mission is to cultivate a strong sense of cultural identity, economic prosperity, education, and social cohesion among Ghanaians in the region.
GHF is committed to improving Ghanaians’ lives in New England through community involvement, development, and advocacy for policy.
Launch Of The First Ever Ghana Culinary Festival Dubbed “Feast Ghana”
The Privileged Department of the Republic of Ghana to Worcester, Massachusetts further stretched out a solicitation to all Ghanaians and the Diaspora People group to join in and support NEGFest 2024 in their numbers.
Accordingly, coordinators of NEGFest 2024 is inviting everybody to participate in the festival of Ghanaian legacy with solidarity and pride.

Morning Session:
Business Entrepreneurship Network
Business Entrepreneurship Network This one-of-a-kind event is expected to bridge networks and foster meaningful relationships that lead to growth and success through business engagements with top Ghanaian and African Diaspora entrepreneurs.

Evening Session: Friday, September 6, 2024
On Friday, September 6, 2024, there will also be the NEGFest 24 Beauty Pageant, in which participants will celebrate and display authentic Ghanaian culture, including comedy, poetry, and a great deal more.

Day Two: Saturday, September 7, 2024
Morning Session: Durbar
Experience the greatness of Ghanaian culture at the Durbar, highlighting a lofty motorcade led by local clan leaders and Queen mothers embellished in luxurious clothing.

Scene: Worcester State University
Clothing regulation: Anything African
Evening Session: Kente Dance
The celebrations will go on with the jolting Kente Dance, displaying the magnificence and custom of perhaps of Ghana’s most famous texture.
Dance to the cadenced beats of highlife music performed live by legendary Ghanaian artists, and revel in the bright energy of this cultural spectacle.

Day Three: Sunday, September 8, 2024
There will be an exciting soccer Games and other engaging activities.
