A Look At John Mahama’s Transitional Team

John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect in the general elections held on December 7, 2024, has designated the following individuals as members of the 2024 Transition Team in compliance with the provisions of the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (ACT 845).

To ensure a seamless transition of political power to the incoming administration, the team will collaborate closely with representatives of the departing government.

The Transition Team is made up of seasoned professionals from a range of fields, such as public administration, finance, and governance.

The following people have been appointed to the Joint Transition Team:

• Hon. Julius Debrah – Co-Chairperson

• Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia – Member

• Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey – Member

• Dr. Callistus Mahama– Member/Secretary to the Transition Team

• Dr. Valerie Sawyer – Member

• Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi – Member

• Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson – Member

• Hon. Mahama Ayariga – Member

• Hon. Goosie Tanoh – Member

• Dr. Edward Omane Boamah – Member

Edward Doe Adjaho has also been nominated by the president-elect to serve on the transitional advisory council.
