Ghanaian-based Liberian-born afro-pop singer Irene Logan has wed his long-term boyfriend Joey in a colorful and traditional ceremony.
On Friday, April 19, the pop star and “Run-away” hitmaker got married in Accra.
The singer, dressed in a vibrant green kente suit, was seen enjoying the sweet and exciting moments of her special day in a video on Instagram.
Irene Logan was seen dancing with the members of her bridal team, who were all wearing golden headbands and green outfits.

Before going into hibernation, the singer from Liberia who has lived in Ghana for a long time was one of the country’s most prominent musicians. Born to Liberian parents, her dad and brother passed on when she was very young.
Her mum got married to a Ghanaian when she moved to Ghana. Growing up, she was surrounded by music as a child. Her stepfather was a guitarist and singer, and her mother also sang professionally.
After both of them graduated from the ‘Stars Of The Future’ music competition, organized by Charter House, she developed a profound love for music and went on to form a group with singer Efya called “Irene & Jane.”
After a few years of delighting music fans, they stopped releasing hit songs, and went their ways.
