
Ghana’s minister-designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture Hon. Egyapa Mercer has emphasized his desire on capacity building among the youth of Ghana.
He made these remarks when the Country Director for the International Youth Fellowship (IYF), Dr. David Oh, paid an official visit to him at the Ministry on Monday April 15, 2024.
The IYF is a multinational youth organisation and NGO founded in 2001, to raise leaders with an international outlook and bring practical solutions to problems on hand.
With their fundamental activities including exchange programs on arts and culture, and educational activities, among others, the IYF in Ghana has been focused on capacity building for the youth in the country.

Following their meeting with the President of Ghana in 2017, on the lines of building a youth centre and implementing Mind Education for the youth of Ghana and further partnerships with the National Youth Authority, the Hon. Minister-Designate affirmed the Government’s commitment to such innovative ideas.
The IYF has promised to continue to engage other government bodies where necessary, to ensure an all-round inclusion in their innovative activities in Ghana.
