Accolades Go Out To Abiana For A Successful Show

The highly anticipated Extended Play (EP), of Sensational female vocalist, Abiana, titled “Taste of Africa,” was released at the Alliance Francaise on Friday November 2024.

To many of the fans, the show was one of the most amazing they have attendee this year. As a matter of fact, the show was accompanied with a colorful and lovely performances, leaving the crowd with a remarkable experience.

The setting was full with the Lady of the day Abiana pulling off an incredible performances, together with her extraordinary vocal talent. Abiana is known for her credibility of Africa’s rich sounds and cultural heritage, thus she never left that to the side on the day.

The ‘Taste of Africa‘ EP comprises of six tracks including African Highlife, High, and Far Away. The reactions from the crowd during and after the show was overpowering.

Abiana in her comments at the event said:

“I am incredibly humbled by the response to ‘Taste of Africa,’ I expected to create an EP that not only celebrates the beauty of our music but also resonates with people from different cultures and backgrounds. The fact that it has been embraced so wholeheartedly is truly amazing.”

Abiana is a strong musical force, who always tries to redefine the boundaries of Ghanaian music by celebrating the diversity of its rich culture.

The Concert Begins:

The crowd were calmly hanging tight for the opening act before any other performance. In a sparkle of an eye, ‘Talented Kidz’ contestant, Raman walked up the stage and gave a mind boggling and an expert gig.

Right after him came Ceilo Bee, winner of Citi FM’s Voice Factory Season IV. She also flawlessly did Abiana’s ‘Amen’ song.

Floewe from Eswatini, who flew to Ghana to help Abiana, gave the crowd sime Southern African rhythms to make way for an extraordinary evening.

Rapper Worlasi followed up next for some fine performances. He illustrated the present status of our nation by instituting a Parliamentary scene. And this got the audience invigorated.

After Worlasi, then came the Lady of night Abiana, who ventured out in a novel style to start the show. She was clad in a staggering outfit that mirrored her remarkable fashion sense. Abiana got a monstrous praise, from the crowd prior to starting her performances.

The group chimed in to each of her songs, as she performed. The background of the place was lighted up with beautiful pyrotechnics that blew the fans away. Abiana performed with a 20-piece made-up band and the Orchestra. The Hyskuul Band led by the legendary Dan Grahl, and the Orchestra also gave the people a pleasant show.

Abiana’s Is Releasing Her New EP ‘Taste of Africa’

It wasn’t about Abiana alone, in spite of the fact that she was the center of attraction. The legendary multiple award winning rapper and highlife artist, Okyeame Kwame also joined the party to play out the well known song ‘Bolgatanga Girl’ with Abiana.

The telepathy between Abiana and Okyeame Kwame was an amazing sight. Okyeame Kwame’s performance got people requesting more from the duo.

Trigmatic followed straightaway. He gave a monstrous execution that got the fans moving.

Legendary Amandzeba Nat Brew then proceeded on the stage, he delivered consecutive hits, from Dede, WorGb3, and Kpanlogo. This got patrons dancing the songs.

Finally, Abiana mounted the stage to deliver her last set of performances, she got patrons dancing to her current hit ‘African Highlife and High’. She eventually left a mark as one of Africa’s finest vocalist and performer.

Other dignitaries and celebrities that were at the concert included Millionaire Kenpong, Prof. Esi Sutherland Addy, Johnny Hughes, manager of former Black Stars captain Samuel Anim Addo, and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale-North, Alhassan Suhuyini.
