Adele says that she had a sciatica attack and collapsed backstage during her Las Vegas residency at the Caesars Palace. Her body had to be picked up “off the floor”.
During a concert over the weekend, the 35-year-old singer said of her persistent back pain, “I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica.”
She then told her fans about a recent attack of sciatica that made her fall to the ground.
According to the Mayo Clinic, sciatica is a condition that typically develops when a herniated disk presses on a portion of the sciatic nerve, resulting in severe pain.

At a past show, Adele referred to her back aggravation while throwing T-Shirts into the crowd with a handheld gun.
“I’ve got two more, I’ve just got to get over to the other side of the stage. I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica,” she joked at the time.
In the meantime, neither the start nor the actual cause of the condition have been disclosed by the Grammy winner.
In a related episode, during her show on the night, the singer also got down on a security officer at the event for apparently “harassing” a young fan.
She halted her performance of “Water Under the Bridge” when she noticed that the security was pushing down someone in the crowd.
“What is going on with that young fan there?” Adele asked as she walked to the front of the stage, fan video shows. “He’s been bothered so much for standing up … why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please?”
The British pop star then added, “They won’t bother you again, my darling,” and apologised to the crowd for suspending the performance while the audience cheered.
