Adidas has introduced the Adizero Cybersonic, a shoe designed to speed up players’ points. The shoe was designed to help athletes accelerate their pace from the net to the baseline in a sport that is becoming faster and more difficult than ever before.
Tennis players can use the adizero Cybersonic, which is designed for extreme speed, to get their point across more quickly.
The shoe’s ENERGYRODS provide lightweight propulsion, and the Lightstrike midsole combines lightweight cushioning with responsiveness on the court.
From January 9, 2023, the adidas adizero Cybersonic will be available on adidas.com and through the adidas app.
Adidas brought together members of its Advanced Concepts and Future Innovation teams in an effort to develop a tennis shoe that would provide players with an unparalleled level of high performance. Pro athletes and the University of Freiburg collaborated to test and validate the prototypes, ensuring the performance benefits of the new shoe.
Adidas Director of Tennis and Court Sports Daniel Neuerburg made the following remarks:
“Our aim with the new adizero Cybersonic was to make the impossible possible when it comes to creating a shoe that’s more efficient, consistent and precise. The stability and burst of pace that the Cybersonic offers enables our players to be laser-focused and respond to their opponent’s next move – faster.”
Simply put, the Cybersonic was designed for speed. The adizero Cybersonic keeps athletes moving by helping them stabilize and maintain their balance, quickly change direction, or inject energy when accelerating.
The new adidas Adizero Cybersonic enables players to concentrate on the current point in play and defeat their opponent in a game where victories and losses are so minute.
There are a number of technological advancements in the adizero Cybersonic:
ENERGYRODS: The lightweight propulsion provided by the ENERGYRODS in the heel enables the athlete to make rapid changes of direction. This is the first time adidas tennis shoes have used ENERGYRODS.
Lightstrike Midsole: The adiWEAR rubber compound sole and dual-density Lightstrike midsole enable athletes to perform their footwork with greater efficiency, consistency, and precision.
Athletes can push harder while maintaining their balance in the recycled ADITUFF engineered sport-specific abrasion zone, allowing them to quickly return to their position.
From January 9, the adidas adizero Cybersonic will be available on adidas.com and through the adidas app in two colorways: a blue fusion/solar red colorway for men and a blue fusion/pulse mint colorway for women.
