
The Ghana Black Stars on Saturday January 8, 2022 showed up in Cameroon for the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations.
In a tweet, the team said they “have safely landed” in the host country.
The 33rd Africa Cup of Nations competition starts today Sunday January 9, subsequent to rescheduling because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first match of the competition will see host country Cameroon, go facing Burkina Faso at Olembe Stadium in Yaounde. Later in the day, Ethiopia will also play Cape Verde.
Ghana will play on Monday January 10. The team will be facing Morocco at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo.
Before this, Senegal will face Zimbabwe, whilst Guinea will fight it out with Malawi at Kouekong Stadium in Bafoussam.
The last game for the day will be between Comoros and Gabon.
