Afenyo-Markin Ought To Prioritize Ghana Now Over Political Affiliations—KSM

The opposition to the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has been criticized by veteran satirist and media personality Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM).

According to KSM, Afenyo-Markin would probably support such a committee to recover alleged looted funds from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) if the roles were reversed. KSM questioned Afenyo-Markin’s dismissal of the committee as unlawful and unconstitutional.

KSM discussed the significance of prioritizing Ghana over political affiliations. He asserts that recovering embezzled money should be the main priority, regardless of political colours.

According to KSM, the emphasis should be on making political leaders answerable for every small amounts of money spent carelessly.

According to KSM’s recent remarks, Afenyo-Markin’s opposition to the ORAL committee may exacerbate the NPP’s unpopularity by seeming to obstruct initiatives for financial accountability and transparency.
