
According to reports, Kokui Selormey, a radio and television personality, has submitted her resignation from Citi FM.
In 2020, Kokui joined Citi FM as a Citi Breakfast Show host.
The presenter’s departure from Viasat 1 and Kwesé TV follows a string of recent resignations from Citi FM and Citi TV.
Kokui, who is 44 years old and is the daughter of the late Deputy Ghana’s Minister of Finance Victor Selormey, graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, with a degree in music and theatre. Additionally, in Boston, Massachusetts, she has the New England Conservatory of Music (NEC).
Prior to making an application to a university, the singer completed additional coursework at the Allen Academy in Texas. In 2009, Kokui moved back to Ghana from the United Kingdom in order to settle down. She worked for six months in the Ghanaian Civil Service before having to leave.
Meanwhile, AJ Sarpong has also resigned from Citi TV and Citi FM, both of which are based in Accra. According to sources, the media personality will move to Media General precisely 3FM, a sister station in Accra.

AJ Sarpong previously hosted the daily entertainment segment on Starr FM’s Mid-Morning show, The Zone, with Naa Ashorkor, and on TV with Kafui Dey and Baisiwaa on GH One TV’s morning show for the EIB Network.
She owns two master’s degrees: one with a degree in journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and the other with a degree from the University of Professional Studies in Accra (UPSA) in Brands and Communication Management.
