20-year-old Mohammed Kudus has without precedent in his career at Ajax won a title after his side conquered a challenge from Vitesse Arnhem on Sunday April 18. His side (Ajax) beat Vitesse Arnhem to lift the Dutch Cup.
In his first season with the Lancers, Kudus watched from the bench as Brazilian winger David Neres scored in the first minute of injury time to significantly hand his side a 2-1 success in the cup last.
Ryan Gravenberch put Ajax ahead of the pack in the 23rd minute but Lois Openda hit back for the resistance just seven minutes afterwards to level the score, before Neres’ late intervention.
The trophy is Kudus’ first career title and the club’s twentieth Dutch Cup.
The Ghanaian was not by any means the only African who observed Ajax’s success on Sunday. Cote d’Ivoire striker Sebastien Haller, who moved from West Ham United in January, featured for the whole span of the game.

The Morocco triplet of right-back Noussair Mazraoui, winger Oussama Idrissi and assailant Zakaria Labyad also watched from the bench, similarly as Burkina Faso striker Lassina Traore and Dutch U21 striker of Ghanaian drop Brian Brobbey.
Late summer, Kudus joined Ajax on a five-year contract from Danish Nordsjaelland, the arrangement supposedly worth €9 million.
He made his debut for the side in a league clash against RKC Waalwijk and scored his first goal in a 5-1 Eredivisie win over Heerenveen in October 2020.
All things considered, Kudus Mohammed is anticipating proceeding with his growth at Ajax and also keep chasing after his dreams.
Kudus has made 16 appearances and scored twice, his number of outings limited by a meniscus injury sustained in October last year.
Back home in his country Ghana, Kudus has made a number of appearances for the Black Stars. And as an attacker, he has scored two goals and provided two assists.
