
Despite being fresh, her aggressive approach to the music industry appears phenomenal. Aklerh, whose real name is Zebulun Aklerh Ocansey, is set to compete with the “hot” but healthy competitors in the reggae and dancehall genres of the Ghanaian music industry.
Although the bubbly singer claims that she is prepared to join the bandwagon in order to make a difference, Aklerh acknowledges that the competition is fierce. It would have been reasonable to assume that Aklerh only performs reggae and dancehall, but it is interesting to note that she also performs Afrobeats.
The 31-year-old Labadi artist is the daughter of Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, also known as Daddy Bosco, a legendary media figure who served as the first chairman of the Rastafari Continental Council (R.C.C.).
After completing her elementary and senior high school educations at Hannah School Complex, Calvary International School, and St. John’s Grammar School, respectively, Aklerh made the decision to follow in her father’s footsteps and enter the media and entertainment industry. After that, she got her diploma at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI).

She clearly wanted to work in the entertainment industry (Showbiz). After spending nearly a decade underground, Aklerh now appears “riped” for mainstream music. In 2020, she burst onto the scene, and in 2021, she released her first single.
According to Aklerh, she got into music due to anger about an issue. She started making music because it was the only way she could best express herself at the time.
Perhaps that was the beginning of her musical journey. The title of her debut single, “Born Rich,” won over a large number of listeners, particularly TikTokers and other social media users.
The brand-new song that Aklerh is currently promoting is titled “Only You” In 2023, this song has the potential to be one of the most popular songs because the production and composition were executed well. Since her first EP is almost ready to be released, she has stated that she will collaborate with any artist.
