Alhaji Karim Grusah, a seasoned football expert and the owner of King Faisal Football Club, has publicly demanded that Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), and his whole management group be fired.

Grusah made a direct plea to President John Mahama, urging him to take immediate action to bring Ghana football back to its former splendor.

In addition to other terrible episodes, such as back-to-back group-stage eliminations in the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), his frustration stems from the Black Stars‘ failure to qualify for this year’s AFCON in Morocco.

Alhaji Grusah underlined that the GFA’s leadership needs to be completely restructured in light of these issues and the Ghana Premier League’s deteriorating situation.

Alhaji Grusah urged the government to not be afraid of possible FIFA sanctions, claiming that such strong measures are necessary to improve Ghanaian football.

Football in Ghana has been drastically declining for a number of years now, and many sports fans and experts have been urging the Ghana Football Association’s executives to step down.
