Onstage, the singer displayed her trademark energy of fusing many genres, including alté, R&B, and Afropop. Her set list included:
• “Co-Star” – a fan favorite from Fountain Baby
• “Sad Girlz Luv Money” – the viral hit that put her on the global radar
• “Reckless & Sweet”
• A medley paying homage to Ghanaian artists like La Même Gang, Asakaa Boys, Joey B, Eazy and a few others.
She brought her barber onstage during her performance and had her head shaved live, signifying freedom and metamorphosis in a dramatic turn.
She said to the audience, “I’m finally free, Coachella! Do you feel it? Do you feel me?”
The moment quickly went viral. Amaarae teased her upcoming album, titled ‘Black Star’, slated for release in summer 2025—a project expected to blend Ghanaian roots with futuristic sonic themes.
