40-year-old model and businesswoman, Amber Rose has explained her humming dating stories with actor Chris Rock, revealing experiences into the story and more about herself and Sandra Bullock.
Amber Rose has been in the news as of late with regards to dating rumors after being captured on camera with actor and comedian Chris Rock, 59, in New York City in December 2023.
There have been numerous speculations about their relationship status which has started spreading, provoking Rose to come out to address the bits of gossip head-on during a restrictive interview with ET’s Deidre Behar.
According to Rose, her relationship with Chris is nothing near the speculations (romantic) but a casual meeting between longtime friends. Explaining the nature of their relationship, Rose stated,
“It was not [a date]. I’ve been friends with Chris Rock for, like, 13 years… We met for coffee. We talked some crap to each other. He made me laugh because he’s hilarious. And that’s our friendship. Just friendship.”
Tending to the photos that started the reports, Rose explained that their friendship was just platonic.
“We were not holding hands, and we were obviously very separate. It just becomes unfair sometimes,” she noted, highlighting the pitfalls of paparazzi scrutiny. Further Rose revealed that Rock is pretty good with sharing fun “relationship advice” as he is single now.
Regardless of her high-profile experiences with top names in the industry, Rose revealed that she is happy with her single life and zeroed in on bringing up her children.
“I’m definitely not looking for nothing. I’m definitely very happy raising my children and having my own schedule,” she said in the interview.
Rose further revealed that she maintains close friendships with other A-list celebrities, including Sandra Bullock. Rose explained that their bond is strengthened through their children, who are close friends.
“I’m close friends with Tom Arnold, our kids play together. I’m close friends with Sandra Bullock, our kids play together,” Rose stated.
Rose additionally added that his son and Bullock’s daughter are continually video calling one another, as she featured her love for The Blindside star.
“I love Sandra. She’s amazing. She’s the most down-to-earth, coolest person ever. My son and her daughter are best friends. They’re on FaceTime all day. We love Sandra,” Rose shared.
Amber Rose’s open interview not just dissipated the bits of gossip encompassing her supposed affair with Chris Rock, but in addition gave understanding into her veritable friendships with other celebs in the industry.
