A secondary school team promoter who recently intrigued judges on “America’s Got Talent” has died. Her passing is being investigated as a suicide.
Emily Gold, 17, was found dead under a bridge on the eastward 210 Turnpike in Rancho Cucamonga, California not long before 12pm on Friday.
Policing said, she is believed to have jumped from a bridge above and arrived on the turnpike underneath.
The source claims that the CHP received 911 calls regarding a pedestrian in the carpool lane, and when authorities arrived, they discovered that at least one vehicle had struck Gold and failed to stop.
But it’s not clear if the driver even realized they had hit someone or just ran over something they thought was in the carpool lane.
