Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Awal has on Monday July 12 launched the National Tourism Destination Single Window Project comprising of the Visit Ghana App and an Online portal in Accra.

The all-in-one platform which was launched to bring service operations and the overall population into one commercial center to improve service conveyance.

The project is committed to smoothing out the services and operations of Ghana’s travel industry sector and furthermore assist with real time data to policy makers and financial backers.

Present at the launch were, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey, Deputy Minister of Communications and Digitization, Ama Pomaa Boateng, the Chief Director of the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture, Mr. John Yao Agbeko, Deputy CEO of COCOBOD, President of the Ghana Tourism Federation, and several other industry stakeholders.

Other modules of the App are required to be completed and made utilitarian at the appointed time while the Ghana Tourism Authority which is carrying out the task feedback from stakeholders and users of the platform.
