Black Stars Captain Andre Ayew is set to get back to the team after missing out in the last international games as Ghana face Madagascar and Comoros in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ayew has been a free agent since first July 2023 subsequent to leaving English Premier League side Nottingham Forest upon the lapse of his short-term contract.
He missed out on Ghana’s squad for the last two friendly games against Mexico and USA where the team suffered back-to-back defeats.
The 33-year-old is the most capped player for Ghana with 115 appearances, scoring 24 goals.
Reports say, Almeria midfielder Iddrisu Baba and Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashimeru will also be getting back to the team in the wake of passing up a great opportunity.
