Anthony Joshua Appears To Be In Good Shape- Dillian Whyte

Despite Anthony Joshua’s devastating defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024, heavyweight opponent Dillian Whyte is unwilling to write off the former champion.

Despite his “disgraceful” loss to Daniel Dubois, Dillian believes Anthony Joshua should continue fighting. Joshua still has more to offer in the ring, according to former trainer Tony Sims.

Tony Sims explains why Joshua should wait for a fight with Tyson Fury instead of rematching Dubois: “He’s still got a lot of fight left in him.”

Before and after Joshua’s fight for the British title in 2015, Whyte was a vocal and fierce opponent. However, he supports Joshua in continuing to fight.

“He’s still got a lot left in the tank and he’s still a big draw. And as you can see in the fight, he’s still a big puncher. He had Dubois going before Dubois landed the finishing blow. It’s hard to say, he’s young, he’s strong, he looks in amazing shape. He’s still got a lot of fight left in him.”, Whyte said

He claims that Joshua continues to represent British boxing as the IBF heavyweight champion.

At Wembley Stadium in September, Dubois decisively defeated Joshua in the fifth round.

A possible rematch with Joshua has been suggested, but Dubois will defend his title next in February.

Anthony Joshua won’t be prepared to box in the upcoming year, though.

However, Whyte doesn’t think Joshua’s fighting career should end because of the loss. It is his opinion that a heavyweight boxing loss is overly significant.

“That’s why a lot of fights don’t happen”. They don’t get made because people put a lot of emphasis on win, lose and draw instead of enjoying the fact that two top guys are fighting each other now, which wasn’t happening a few years ago.”

When Dillian Whyte said these things, he was talking to Sky Sports.
