Political analyst Meghan McCain claims that Barack and Michelle Obama “live separate lives” these days. This claim has drawn a lot of attention, and the rumors are spreading quickly.
McCain asserts that these rumors have been validated by reliable sources. McCain, who is also an author, has added fuel to the gossip about the “solid” couple by claiming to have “reputable” sources who inform her that the Obamas are divorcing.
McCain talked about the topic with Puck reporter Tara Palmeri on her podcast, Citizen McCain. Reputable reporters, not tabloids, are reporting the news, she said.
McCain stated,
“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people. I’m not talking about TMZ.”
She added,
“I’m not talking about Perez Hilton… I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true.”
McCain added that a number of reliable reporters have come forward to express their belief that the rumors that the Obamas are divorcing are accurate. McCain claimed that serious journalists, not gossip websites, are the source of this information.
Palmeri, however, conjectured that Michelle had always hated politics and might see this as the ideal opportunity to permanently leave Washington.
“She’s always hated politics! [Michelle] did not really like being First Lady.”
