Netflix has hired “Terminator” star Arnold Schwarzenegger as its Chief Action Officer.
Schwarzenegger is seen arriving at Netflix’s headquarters in a tank in a promotional video that is posted on YouTube.
“No one loves action as much as I do,” he said in the video. “That’s why I’ve accepted the big new job as Netflix’s chief action officer.”
Schwarzenegger then discusses a number of Netflix series, including Extraction 2 starring Chris Hemsworth, The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill, and Heart of Stone starring Gal Gadot. Alongside his own commentary, he promises to deliver subscribers “the best action on earth.”
The video also features Schwarzenegger in his first television series appearance, Fubar, a spy adventure that premieres on May 25. Schwarzenegger went on to say,
“Nobody knows action like I do, and nobody hits like Netflix”
Because of that rising cost, upstart contenders like Disney+ are looking significantly more engaging recently – but Netflix is still the streaming feature to beat.”
