Thomas Partey, a Ghanaian international, has been linked to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window.
Due to ongoing investments in the league, a number of Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly interested in the 30-year-old.
Partey played a huge role in Arsenal’s effort to win the Premier League last season. However, despite being at the top of the table for 247 days, Arsenal lost to Manchester City and didn’t win the league.
Jude Bellingham’s Record Deal With Real Madrid Is Complete
The Ghanaian made 30 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring three goals.
However, the club is eager to part ways with Partey, just as they did with Granit Xhaka, who left for Bayer Leverkusen.
Partey has been granted permission to look for a transfer away from the Emirates Stadium, according to reports.
Arsenal are also said to be in favor of the Ghanaian international discussing a move to a Saudi Arabian club because they are aware that doing so could result in a transfer fee that is higher than what they would receive from a club in Europe.
Partey, who arrived from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for £45 million, only has two years left on his contract.
