After taking a vacation from official duties last month, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, returned from a trip overseas on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Traditional leaders, including as Nana Otuo Sereboe II, Juabenhene, and Akyeamfuo Asafo Boakye Agyemang Bonsu, Asafohene, gave the King a beautiful and colorful welcome at the Prempeh I International Airport.
His Majesty was greeted by Brigadier General Matthew Opoku, the GOC of the Central Command; former Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency Matthew Opoku Prempeh; Ashanti Regional Police Commander DCOP Emmanuel Teye Cudjo; and Kumasi Mayor Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi.
