Asantehene Takes Two-Weeks Break From All Official Duties

The Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is scheduled for a leave of absence from all official duties this month.

Akyeamehene Nsuase Poku made the announcement during the Asanteman Council’s first meeting on January 11, 2024.

Otumfuo will take a fourteen day break from all official duties after a busy and stuffed 2023.

His Highness has taken a trip out of the country for the break to guarantee it isn’t intruded, for the required rest during the period.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II left the country on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

In 2023, the King was entrusted with a progression of international duties in the United Kingdom (UK) two times and Trinidad and Tobago as well as other national and local obligations.
