The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi has been named to host Asantehene’s 25th Anniversary Celebration.
The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Daasebre Otuo Siriboe, declared that the peak of the festival will be hosted at this venue, which is prestigious for hosting significant events.
Despite the fact that Otumfuo will be precisely 25 years of age on the Golden Stool on April 26, 2024, the fabulous festival will be observed six days after the fact.
On the 26th, which falls on a Friday, Daasebere stated that a Thanksgiving service will be held as done yearly.
However, the Anniversary Celebration has been deliberately scheduled to correspond with an Akwasidae celebration which is a change of plan for the festival.
