Assembling & Installation Of Ghana’s First Modern Trains Have Been Successful..

In the relatively recent past, the Railways Ministry of Ghana got an armada of modern trains into the country to assist with reducing the tension on transportation to various destinations.

Since its appearance, engineers have been chipping away at the trains to have it on the railroad effectively with no hitch.

Fast forward, the designers have successfully completed the first unit of two modern trains acquired by government, by assembling and installing the trains on the railway track. The Minister for Railways Development John Peter Amewu revealed in a recent interview.

As indicated by the minister, electrical and mechanical tests would before long be completed to prepare for the useful testing of the trains on the tracks.

The first train for Ghana Railways which is expected to operate both regional and long-distance lines arrived in the country from Poland about two weeks ago.

Sharing update on progress of work on the installation on Facebook on Tuesday (16 April), Amewu said the government is committed to revamping railway transport in the country.
