When she left Cassper Nyovest’s Family Tree to begin her own record label, Hip hop heavyweight Nadia Nakai was very confident in herself she could begin her own record label. Obviously, many of the fans didn’t like her thought, yet she remained on track and did that in her capacity.
Bragga, as she is tenderly called by fans, alluded it was the ideal opportunity for her to go solo as an artist. And truly, she has demonstrated without question that, her experience acquired at Family Tree has been of tremendous assistance at the new label.

Nadia Nakai has indeed made a mark in South African industry, and one of her tunes that did it for her was the point at which she was featured on Gemini Major’s 2016 single ‘Ragga’. The tune had other top artists like Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest and Major League DJz on it.
Nadia Nakai was born in South Africa. Her dad is South African and her mom is Zimbabwean. She studied Marketing, Communication, and Media Studies at Monash University in Johannesburg. She was the winner of the famous – Who Won The Mixtape 101 Competition on the ETV show Shiz Niz. Nadia is also a voice-over artist as well as an social media web influencer.
