
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, a well-known Nigerian singer who goes by the stage name Ayra Starr, has cancelled all of her upcoming performances in the United States and all of her stage shows due to illness.
At the American record producer and rapper Pharrel Williams’ “Something In The Water Concert” in Virginia City, the Mavin Records signee was expected to perform alongside Busta Rhymes, ASAP Rocky, and a long list of other well-known artists.
However, in an Instagram story posted on April 30, 2023, Ayra Starr revealed that her doctor had advised her to immediately rest in bed in order for her to regain her health.

She expressed regret for dropping her broadly expected performance and consoled her fans that she will make a unique return.
Ayra Starr wrote:
“DC, VA and Houston your girl is going through it. My doctor has advised me to slow down, hence I’m on immediate bed rest. So sorry I could not meet every one of you as planned. Also, I’m sorry you feel let down but I promise to be back in a special way for you when we will have a magical time. I appreciate your prayers and well wishes.”
