Coach Ronald Koeman said,
“I know they’re close to agreeing a new contract and it’s big news for Barca because we’re talking about someone that can mark the club’s future.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona’s head of football Mateu Alemany has been in Portugal with Fati’s agent, Jorge Mendes, to settle the negotiation, which is relied upon to be announced before the upcoming El Clasico.
As indicated by Mateu Alemany, all that should be done now is for the paperwork to be concurred and closed down before Fati’s renewal will at long last be made public.
News that Fati has expanded his agreement will be a major lift to Barca and follows on from Pedri’s renewal last week. The midfielder has additionally joined up with the Catalans until 2026.
Fati who is just back from a long injury, has as of now, had a huge impact in the team, scoring against teams like Levante, Valencia and so on.
