As a result, in the first 13 games of 2023, Hansi Flick has tied Xavi’s winning streak as manager. Luis Enrique led the team to 23 straight games without a loss, 18 of which were victories, but there is still a long way to go before they can replicate the incredible start to 2016.
Barça has 11 victories and 2 draws so far this season. They are in a strong position going into the season’s final stretch, which includes a fierce Liga chase, the Champions League last 16 game with Benfica, and the Copa del Rey semi-final— the first leg of which comes off on Tuesday against Atletico Madrid.
