Barcelona's Goal Is To Win This Year's Champions League

Barca’s goal “is to win this year’s Champions League,” Ronald Araujo, who recently extended his contract with the team until 2031, has reassured supporters.

“Winning as many titles as possible is the big aim,” he said.

According to the Uruguayan center-back, who extended his contract with Barcelona until June 30, 2031, on Thursday, January 23, the team is very likely to win the Champions League.

“This is the biggest goal we have, and we are going to go for it, for sure,” said the Uruguayan.

He also emphasized how young and ambitious this Barcelona squad is.

“I am happy to be able to renew with Barca and continue here for many more years. The happiness is enormous, I worked hard for this. You can see the club’s confidence in you and that’s important, because it means you’re doing things right,” he said.

Araujo went on to say that he will do everything in his power to help reach the goal because he cherishes the love he receives from the supporters at every game.
