Michael Jordan, a legend in basketball, has purchased a one-of-a-kind custom-made Italian sports car for more than $2 million.
The basketball great, who has a $3.5 billion fortune, now owns the only Pininfarina Battista Targamerica model in the world because the automaker made it.
The car, which had been purchased by a “renowned car collector and existing Battista owner,” was unveiled by the Italian manufacturer at Monterey Car Week in the middle of August 2024.
The one-of-a-kind Battista Targamerica, which features an aluminum cigar holder and humidor between the front seats, is currently owned by Michael Jordan, according to reports.
The 61-year-old is well-known for his love of cigars, and while he and his wife Yvette Prieto were on vacation in Europe this summer, they were seen smoking a lot of them.
Auto Evolution reports that he unveiled his brand-new electric hypercar with an open roof at the beginning of October. It is estimated to be worth more than $2 million.
The exterior is silver and blue, and the interior is tan. The engine is said to have 1,900 horsepower.

It is well known that Michael Jordan has a passion for high-end sports cars. In May 2023, the legend of the Chicago Bulls spent $3.5 million on a very rare 30 Venom F5 Roadster.
Throughout his iconic Chicago career, he also enjoys arriving at Bulls games in expensive automobiles.
After a photo of Jordan and his wife Prieto at a Champions League soccer game in Monaco went viral, it raised concerns about Jordan’s health.
A number of people speculated that the six-time NBA champion might be suffering from jaundice as a result of alcohol abuse or elevated melanin pigment on the surface of the eye as he watched from the stands.
The picture showed the six-time NBA champion’s eyes appearing alarmingly yellow.
But he is fine, despite doctors’ assertions that those theories are not without merit.
