Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, the MP-elect for Gomoa Central, has stated his plans to become president of Ghana in the upcoming years.
“I am going to Parliament to make a difference, especially for a massive development for my constituent Gomoa Central,” stated the Member of Parliament who defeated his rivals by a wide margin.
Speaking on “Ekosii Sen” on Asempa FM on Wednesday, December 11, A-Plus stated that holding the position of MP at this time is a prelude to becoming Ghana’s next president.
The entertainer, who is currently a politician, claims that he will run as an independent presidential candidate and prevail when the time comes.
“I am going to carry out my plan. I want to elevate Gomoa to a point where the populace won’t reject me when I run for president in the future. Since I wouldn’t be staying in Gomoa for many years, what I am doing there now is pilot work. It’s not my final destination.
“I want the youth in the constituency to support me as we all rise together because I have bigger plans ahead. I just want to get over this”.
The MP claims that he wants to establish a record in Gomoa so that people will still remember and speak of him when he is no more.
“I want to give my people something new. “A solid foundation that anyone who takes over one day can follow,” he said.
