Best Of Africa Awards: DJ Cuppy Receives A Benevolent Award

DJ Cuppy has been awarded for her philanthropic activities through her Cuppy foundation.

The Nigerian producer and disk jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, spread the word via her Instagram page, explaining that she clinched the philanthropic leadership award at the recent Best of Africa Award show.

The award show focuses on honouring and celebrating the achievements of people of African and Pan-African heritage.

Cuppy posted this accomplishment with excitement with her prize, while wearing a traditional clothing of the Yoruba clan. In her subtitle, she offered her thanks to the organization for her award, as she noticed her pride about being an African.

Cuppy Is Now A Student Of Oxford University

“This award means so much to me because I am being honoured by my own people. I DJ around the world and do a lot of philanthropy but there is something that happens when we get together as Africans. I really believe that when we unite we create more than anyone can handle and that’s what I strive for at Cuppy Foundation.”

Cuppy is known for her charity and generosity; with more concentration on African continent. Through her foundation, she aims to assist future African leaders by furnishing them with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to have the greatest effect on the continent.

In the relatively recent past, DJ Cuppy gave £100,000 to the University of Oxford as a grant store for Africans in the school.
