BET Hip-Hop Awards 2023: This Is What Went On

This year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards came with a stylish flair, with all big guys in the music industry gathering here for a beautiful experience.

The yearly music entertainment expo, which celebrates all the best in hip-hop, fell off on Tuesday October 3 at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. This was a prerecorded show, as the award show’s broadcast is set to air October 10.

To pay tribute to the 50th commemoration of hip-hop, the ceremony featured performances by new age stars DaBaby, Fivio Foreign, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, as well as hip-hop icons Kid Capri, Kool DJ Red Alert, Scott Storch, and DJ Spinderella.

From DJ Spinderella, Fat Joe to DaBaby and Coi Leray, every one of the stars showed up at the ceremony in style.

The ceremony also honored legends like TakeOff, Markie, and a couple of others with additional top moments.

Then again, Ghana’s Black Sherif won the Best International Flow at the Awards night. The sensational Ghanaian singer took away the enviable award for the first time in his career.

The win denotes one more significant achievement in the young rapper’s growing career!

Blacko, as he is tenderly called, became the first Ghanaian to win Best International Flow since one of Africa’s best rappers Sarkodie’s impressive win some years back.
