Beyoncé Takes A Strong Stance Against The Trump Campaign Team For Using Her Song

Beyoncé has threatened Donald Trump to stop using her song ‘Freedom’ without her permission.

A campaign video that was shared by Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung featured the song.

In response to the Trump campaign’s use of the song without her permission, the singer has threatened legal action.

A campaign video featured the song, which is from her 2016 album ‘Lemonade’ and features Kendrick Lamar.

Donald Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung shared a video of the song from her 2016 album “Lemonade.”

Trump was seen stepping off a plane in the video, which was uploaded on August 20, 2024, while the music played in the background. The post’s subtitle read, “Touchdown in Michigan!!”

The song has come to be associated with campaigns in politics. Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has also used it at various major events.

The legendary Rolling Stone announced on August 21, 2024, that Beyoncé’s team is prepared to issue a cease-and-desist order, despite her silence regarding the Trump campaign’s use of the song.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign was criticized earlier this month for using Celine Dion’s 1997 hit “My Heart Will Go On” at a Montana rally. The use of the song, according to Dion’s team, was illegal and did not show that Dion supported the campaign.

Democratic VP Candidate, Tim Walz Is In ‘Love’ With Beyoncé And Taylor Swift!

Beyoncé has supported the Democratic Party in the past, even though she hasn’t officially endorsed Kamala Harris. She endorsed Joe Biden via social media in 2020 and sang the national anthem at Barack Obama’s 2013 inauguration.

Interestingly, Beyoncé Knowles’ mother, Tina, has publicly endorsed Harris, sharing an Instagram photo of her and the vice president and expressing her support for Harris’ candidacy.

The difficulties that arise when copyrighted music is used in political campaigns are demonstrated by Beyoncé’s potential legal action.
