Ghanaian artists Afronitaa and Abigail concocted an amazing semi-final performance at the on-going 2024 Britain’s Got Talent.
Their performancesleft both the crowd and judges in wonderment, displaying their unprecedented talent and displaying their Ghanaian heritage.
Afronitaa and Abigail played out a variety of well known hits, including Fuse ODG’s “Azonto,” Beyoncé’s “Run The World,” and Toofan’s “Gweta” among others.
Their performance procured them a thunderous applause, leaving the crowd happily giving them a standing ovation under the watchful eye of the judges, who also gave their positive reactions on their performance.
“Looking at you makes me happy, you really are a tonic for the spirit. Your individual style of dancing is so unique and beautiful, your musicality is out of this world and your personality really shines through. Love you, love you,” judge Bruno Tonioli told them.
One of would have imagined that, the tough judge Simon Cowell would be indifferent on their performance, but this time, he adulated Afronita and Abigail, saying, “When you’ve got it, you’ve got it.”
He noticed that the Ghanaian artists left him befuddled and, despite the fact that he was sure who might win the competition a day before, their hypnotizing routine made them question his expectation.
Afronitaa after the competition said she felt honored to have made it this far.
“This is a big testimony for me, for Abigail, for Ghana and for everyone that supports us. We are so grateful. It’s been so emotional…thanks to God and everyone.”
Aside from their fans all over the world jubilating, Ghanaians also took to social media to praise the accomplishments of Afronita and Abigail aged 20 and 7 respectively. A colossal number of the population are trusting they go for the ultimate come Sunday.
