The ninth season of Big Brother Naija started off on Sunday July 28. The duos are the focus of this year’s “No Loose Guard” season.
This year’s event has a little change in rules, as candidates are allowed to come along with their partners to enter the show.
The award to be won this season is worth ₦100 million, including an SUV.
This year’s housemates are as follows:
• Chinwe and Zion, who go by the name “ZinWe Pair,” are together. Five months has passed since they got together.
• Femi and Michky are companions and gym brothers too. They’re known as “The Radicals.”
• Rhuthee and DJ Flo are friends. They go by the name “Flourish.” For ten years, they have been very close.
• The fourth pair are a niece and aunt pair, Chinne and Nne. They go by the name “Ndi Nne.”
• Sooj and Topher are the fifth pair. They refer to themselves as “Aces” and are colleagues.
• Shaun and Victoria are the sixth team. They became friends after meeting in Dubai in 2022. “Shatoria” is the name of their group.
• Indistinguishable twins Handi and Wanni are the seventh pair. They are DJs from Kaduna. They go by the name “Wanni X Handi.”
• The following pair is Tjay and Ben. They met via social media. They go by the name “Beta.” Tjay has a daughter and is married.
• Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe are the ninth pair of identical twins. They call themselves ‘Mbadiwe Twins’.
• Damilola and Toyosi are the tenth couple, who are friends. They met during their IT program. They call themselves ‘Tami’.
• Beauty queen and pole dancer Nelly and Anita are the eleventh couple. They will go by ‘Nelita’ on the show. In 2015, they met.
• Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge known as ‘Streeze’ are the next pair. They are friends and met at Unilag.
