
In a recent interview with Sunday Times, Bill Gates spoke about his separation from Melinda Gates. According to him, he absolutely do not regret over his 27-year-marriage and, surprisingly, maintained that he would make it happen once more.
The couple declared their divorce in 2021 in a joint statement where they referenced that they never again see themselves growing all together.
The Microsoft founder got serious about having no unpleasant sentiments towards ex Melinda in any capacity. He said,
“Every marriage as the kids leave the house will go through a transition. Mine sadly went through this transition called divorce. But from my point of view, it was a great marriage. I wouldn’t have changed it. You know, I wouldn’t choose to marry someone else. Yes. I’m talking about would I marry Melinda all over again”
Gates additionally referenced that he certainly regards and recommends marriage. Bill and Melinda dated for a considerable length of time (7years) before they got married in 1994. The ex-couple also shares three children: Jennifer, 26, Rory, 22, and Phoebe, 19.

While Bill and Melinda headed out in different directions last year, the ex couple proceed with their working relationship as they together handle the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Microsoft founder also shed light on their working relationship depicting it as “complex and close.” He further expressed that he is glad that they get to cooperate regardless of their detachment in private life. With respect to the effect of their separation, Bill maintained that they both are healing from it.
